Club Resources & Requirements
Definition of a "Student Club"
A Student Club allows membership for any Fullerton College student who is not in Academic Probation or violates the Standards of Student Conduct and Discipline Policy. Clubs only need a minimum of five (5) members and an advisor. Three (3) officers and two (2) regular members. One of those members must be an Inter-Club Council rep. All Clubs are represented in the Inter-Club Council (ICC), which meets at least once per month.
Student groups that have additional requirements (such as membership dues, GPA minimums, volunteer hours, program participation, class enrollment, etc.) are considered a Student Organization. Student Orgs have the same membership requirements as Clubs (see above). But Student Orgs are not required to have an ICC rep. Some Student Orgs still choose to send a member to ICC Meetings, but it is up to ICC whether to grant non-clubs membership status.
How to remain an official or "Active Club"
All officially recognized clubs and organizations that have been approved by Student Senate at Fullerton College must abide by the policies, procedures, and guidelines of Associated Students (A.S.), Fullerton College, and the North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD), including the Standards of Student Conduct and Discipline. Student clubs and organizations are subject to the approval, guidance, and regulation of the Associated Students of Fullerton College.
