About Student Life and Leadership

Student Life and Leadership is the home of the Associated Students (A.S.) Office, Student Center, and the Hornet Leadership Program. Our diverse team of students, alumni, graduate interns, faculty, and lifelong Hornets prepares students to be successful learners through hands-on leadership training, professional learning, field trips, student conferences, and work experience. These elements complement students’ educational, personal, and professional goals by building their academic resume and network.

Student Life and Leadership also offers opportunities for campus and community involvement and recognition of student achievement through the Associated Students, Faculty of the Year, Students of Distinction scholarship, Commencement Ceremony, and many more! We highly encourage students to be actively involved and engaged on campus with over 50 clubs/organizations, rewarding events and programs such as Club Rush, Quad Haunt, Lunar New Year Celebration, Homecoming, and our leadership workshops.

Visit us at our location inside the Student Center (virtual map), located on the first floor of Cruz Reynoso Hall (Building 200), at the heart of our beautiful campus quad!
