Know the Hornet Code
Fullerton College is committed to maintaining a safe, supportive and inclusive campus community that engages students in order to foster their academic success, personal growth and responsible citizenship. Students are expected to be good citizens and demonstrate responsible behaviors that reflect well upon their college, to be civil to one another and to others in the campus community, and contribute positively to student and college life.
- Respect for Others – Students will treat all members of the community with dignity, empathy and fairness, regardless of background, identity or beliefs.
- Academic Integrity – Students are expected to be honest and ethical in all academic work, avoiding plagiarism, cheating and other forms of academic dishonesty.
- Personal Responsibility – Students are accountable for their actions and decisions, both on and off campus, and are expected to comply with university policies and local, state, and federal laws.
- Community Engagement – Students will contribute positively to the campus environment, promoting inclusivity, safety and the well-being of others.
- Civility and Conduct – Students will engage in respectful dialogue, resolve conflicts constructively and refrain from disruptive or harmful behavior.

- Following directions from college employees
- Respecting college property, spaces and resources
Each Fullerton College student is responsible to know, observe, abide by and adhere to the Standards of Student Conduct and Discipline by North Orange County Community College District which we will refer to as “Know the Hornet Code” or Board Policy (BP) 5500.
